Itinerary: from 6:00am (first day) to 10:00pm (fourth day)

Day 1: Cusco / Calca / Lares / Huacahuasi (L) (D)
We pick each passenger up from their respective hotels at 5:00am , leaving Cusco at 6:00am bound for the province of Calca, and continue on to Lares. Here, we take a couple of hours to enjoy the medicinal hot waters then began the approximately three-hour walk to our first campsite located in Huacahuasi (3,200 m). This is a small community where people produce their hand crafts, such as: beautiful ponchos, their own clothes and others. We eat dinner and camp overnight.

Day 2: Huacahuasi – IpsaycochaPatacancha (B) (L) (D)
After a hearty breakfast, we continue walking.This second day begins in a grueling manner,as we undertake the most difficult part of this trek: we have to climb theIpsaycochapass to 4,350 meters. From this point we have a wonderful view of the mountains of Pumahuanca (5,330 m) the Sahuarsiraiand Pitusiray and then continue along the Ipsaycocha descent to the lake where we camp. We eat lunch along the way and then have dinner in our campsite.

Day 3: Patacancha / Willoc / Ollantaytambo / AguasCalientes (B)
This day the hike is almost all downhill, and we have anincredible view of the valley. We ultimately reach the community of Willoc (3200 meters), a picturesque place where we have the opportunity to see the daily life of the people. We then walk two hours to Pumamarca through beautiful Inca terraces and then come to Ollantaytambo, where you eat lunch before we board the last train of the night to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival we head to the hotel. You can eat dinner in the city and then spend the night in your hotel.

Day 4: AguasCalientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco (B)
We wake up early, eat breakfast, and leave our luggage in the hotel. We then take the first bus up to Machu Picchu, which usually arrives at around 6:50am.In Machu Picchu, we have a guided tour of the urban and agricultural zones, the ceremonial plazas, the sacred sites, the Intihuatana (solar clock) and the many terraces that form this incredible complex. The guided tour lasts approximately two and a half hours, after which you have time to explore the ruins on your own. We later take the train back to Cusco and are taken to respective hotels.
